Once a paper is accepted, the registration phase begins. Authors have to complete following steps.

Step 1 - Registration Fees

It is mandatory for at least one author of the accepted paper to register in order for the paper to be published in the conference proceedings. If an author has got more than one accepted papers, each paper has to be registered. Second paper will get USD50 discount.

Registration Fees

Early Bird (Payment Must Received Before or on 21 August 2018). 

Note: For authors, payment must be made by 9 September 2018 or your article will not be published in the journal/e-proceedings (Extension is given until 25 September 2018). Payment can be made using Ringgit Malaysia instead of USD.

Standard rate registration fees (participants & presenters) include conference admission, conference set and materials, lunches and refreshments. Each presenter (author) is allowed to register for only ONE additional paper and will receive only one set of conference materials.  Accommodation fee is not included. You have to arrange for your own accommodation.

No refund of conference fee after 15 September 2018.

How to Pay

Important: Please forward a scanned copy of the bank slip/telegraphic transfer receipt to IC-ICT4T2018 Secretariat ( with cc to or by fax to +604 9285067 for us to verify the transaction. Please kindly write down the participant's name, date and time of the transfer and country & city of origin.

For Local Participants/Presenters:-

  • Cash, banker's cheques, bank drafts or Local Order.
  • Payment must be made in Ringgit Malaysian (RM).
  • All cheques must be made out to "Universiti Utara Malaysia ".
  • Bank Transfer- all bank transfers made out to our account, please contact ICT4T2018 Secretariat.
  • If you are using a local order, please provide us with the followings:

    a) Name of the officer in-charge
    b) Full address of the officer in-charge
    c) A Guarantee Letter (GL) from the department

For International Participants/Presenters:-

  • Bank drafts withdrawable at a Malaysian Bank only (foreign personal cheques are not accepted).
  • Payment must be made in Ringgit Malaysia.
  • All bank drafts must be made out to "Universiti Utara Malaysia ".
  • Bank Transfer- all bank transfers made out to our local account, please contact ICT4T2018 Secretariat.

Upon receiving the registration form and full payment, the Conference Secretariat will send a letter of confirmation.  


Step 2 - Camera Ready Paper Submission

You have to submit the camera ready paper in accordance with the standard Conference Proceedings. Maximum allowed pages (while submitting the camera ready paper) WITHOUT Extra page charge is 6 (six) pages.
